Erma and family,
We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Rob and I will never forget your hospitality - especially when we came to candidate at the Hobart and So.Kortright churches - way back in 1982. May many fond memories give you comfort and strength in the days ahead. - Holly, Rob, Andrew, and Mark.

I just learned last night of Mac's passing - my condolences to all of the family and my thoughts will be with all of you this morning in Hobart. I grew up with JoAnn, and Mac was one of those parents and one of those businessmen who made Hobart a very good place. He had many talents and interests, and I remember him driving around Hobart in his red jeep on his way to a painting project or some other odd job for a village resident. I was fortunate a few years ago to get a brief tour with him of his bottle collection. Just 6 weeks ago, on Sat May 5th, he took time to attend the brief burial services for my father at the Jefferson cemetery - it wasn't easy for him to do that and it was much appreciated by my family.

To Mrs. MacArthur, and JoAnn and Art Turner.....Mac was a significant inspiration to me, whom I admired and was encouraged by, as I started my own business in Oneonta, twenty-seven years ago. No matter what kind of day we were having, just to see his smile coming in the door when I looked up from my busy desk, made the day so much brighter. He will be deeply missed, was dearly appreciated, and will be remembered always as the kind, pleasant, gentleman that he surely was. Warmest regards to all of your family, Joe and Robin Briguglio

Dear Erma and family,
I am so sad to hear about Mac's passing. Kandy called me last night and I told her several things I remember about him. He was always smiling, enjoyed life and made people feel good around him. Am so glad you all and Vangie were able to come to Mississippi to see us. Teased you how you could set up your own town, with that big rig of yours to live in. You the nurse, Mac the carpenter and undertaker and Vangie the town clerk. Always thought the two of you made a great couple.
I want to close this saying to the whole family "HE WAS A GREAT GUY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;Love Peggy
