I remember Les as our friendly rural mailman when we lived on the farm; then in later years as a meat cutter and expert barbque man; and also a curling buddy.

Memories ..I had the privilege to work with him in Langham Post Office my 35 years .(Canada's longest rural mail carrier )the jokes..stories as he prepared for his delivery .. we never knew what to expect when he arrived .cooking for our 25th the list goes on ..we have all lost a wonderful friend .

I remember my first day of school and seeing Les's smiling face and joyful "good morning" greeting while I got on the bus, which he continuted to do every day until he retired. He was always a very kind gentleman. I truly enjoyed visiting with him through the years as our conversations about his adventures with my grandpa were always very entertaining.
