Ten years. It doesn't seem possible. I am so sorry I grew up too late to express my sorrow at all the years I wasted when we could have been friends again. Thinking of you today and playing Joni Mitchell in the background. I pray you are at peace. I actually turned out a lot better than the friend you remembered. Be at Peace. Wow.. I went to college with Leslie, back in the 70's at Bethany, WVA... had a great smile and laugh and was always up beat... i am sad

I coached Leslie for several years in softball. She lived with us for a short while in Pgh, and I sold her home in Pgh. Coincidence... I am meeting with her brother and sister in law Fri about a swimming pool! In Arizona! She was one of the best....

It's been a month since you've left us,

Dear Leslie, you have been my neighbor since i can remember you will always be in our hearts i am so thankful to have known someone as inspiring as you. You will always be loved and never forgotten. we miss you and i wish i had spent more time with you,knowing this day would come. But you are in a better place now. you lived life to the fullest! I will never forget Aunt Leslie and the way she readily welcomed me into the family. She truly was one of the most interesting people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Anyone who knew her can tell you about her larger than life personality. What they can also tell you is that the only thing bigger than Leslie's personality was her heart. This was evidenced by the love she held for her family and friends and by the dedication she displayed in her 30-year teaching career. I will miss her and be forever thankful for the times we shared. Until we meet again.

You will be missed. It was a joy to have u as a teacher and coach.

Dear Leslie,
We are deeply saddened that we have lost such a wonderful friend & neighbor. My family and I will cherish the fond memories that we have shared through the years. I admired your love and dedication to the teaching profession and your students. Always grateful for the wonderful example you set for Kristopher & Madelyn through the years. On a more personal note. I'll miss your great laugh, hearing you call for Pedro every night and now I have no one to meet at the fence line for afternoon conversation & much more. You will be deeply missed. Leslie made every day at work more pleasant with a kind smile and a warm hello. We knew we would miss her in retirement and we told her as much. Our goodbyes are only temporary as we keep her in our hearts and memories forever until we meet again.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Lee Family. Carolyn was introduced to me by a mutual friend, Rosa Lee Hamlin when we attended Westinghouse. We hit it off right away because we all had Jesus in common. I was a part of the class of 68 as well.

She was my gym teacher at Carmalt and her class was always fun. I remember her talking about her dog and we went to South stadium for softball relay.

Leslie, you have served this world with great conviction and passion for many activities, and have become the perfect role model for all of us regarding your virtue to help other people and animals alike. Your life's work, or shall we say journey, is a legacy that will forever remain in our memories and hearts. Please know that Daisy and Pedro are being well cared for as you embark on your new exploration of the great heavens above. Our prayers and deepest sympathies go out to your family members and other friends, as we all search for comfort in knowing this world has lost a wonderful woman who is a true inspiration to all in so many different ways.
