Leslie Raleigh, NC Bluhm Davis Leslie Bluhm Davis, age 83, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away at Rex Hospital on Monday, August 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Bluhm, and step son, Bernie Davis.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband, Dan Davis, daughter, Susan Burch and her husband Andy Burch, step daughter, Dixie Maddrey and her husband Bill Maddrey, four step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and siblings, Gerri Diele, Steve Bluhm, and Allyson Rayfield.

Leslie was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Columbus, IN, where she met Dan. They moved around a bit until they settled in Raleigh, NC in 1979. Her daughter, Susan, attended and graduated from NC State, and this is when Leslie developed her passion for NC State athletics. She loved NC State football, basketball, and baseball, including tailgating with family and friends. She had fond memories of NC State sporting events and often spoke of them, especially the bus trips.

Leslie also loved the North and South Carolina beaches and spending time with family and friends. Some of her most cherished memories were the family get togethers where there was always lots of laughter and plenty of good food.

She earned her CPA and had a successful career in accounting. Leslie held positions at an audit and tax firm and the Wake County School System and finished up her career as a self-employed accountant.

Leslie's memorial service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 PM.

Family will receive friends and loved ones in their home following the service for a celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, Leslie and family request donations be made to German Shepherd Rescue and Adoptions of North Carolina.
