Leslie Park Carter

Our beloved Mother, Leslie Park Carter, passed away at the age of 55 on March 9, 2014 in Pleasant Grove, UT after battling multiple health issues. Leslie was born December 9, 1958 in Hollywood, CA to William and Lois Park. The family moved back to Utah from California, settling in Orem, where Leslie graduated from Orem High and Orem High Seminary in 1977. She married Dixon (Dick) Carter October 25, 1979. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. They raised 3 children together, remaining in Utah County throughout their marriage. They later divorced but remained great friends. She is survived by her children: Ashley (Alex) Jackson, Chad (Kate) Carter, and Sean Carter; and one granddaughter Skylar Jackson. Her brothers: Stewart (Spring) Park, Stephen (Pam) Park, Matthew (Jennifer) Park and her Father & Mother, William (Bill) and Lois Park. She is preceded in death by her brother Jeff Park, a nephew Benjamin Park and her mother-in-law & father-in-law, Shirley and William Hyrum Carter. There will be graveside services held on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem, UT.
