Auburn - Leslie "Les" E. Duhamel, 70, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012. Les leaves his mother, Irene E. (Daubney) Duhamel; two sisters, Judith E. Class of Vernon, VT and Doreen T. Sannicandro of Milford; several aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces, nephews, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Les was born in Whitinsville the son of Eugene A. Duhamel and was in the first graduating class of Nipmuc Regional High School. Les worked as a supervisor of corporate benefits at Wyman Gordon for 40 years retiring in 2002. Les served on the Board of Directors of Fallon Community Health Plan for 9 years and The City of Worcester for 3 years.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to United Way of Central Massachusetts, 484 Main St., Worcester, MA 01608. Arrangements are under the care of CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.

I knew Les at W-G after we were both graduated from high school. He and Al moved to Texas 10-12 yrs. ago to work for W-G and had a beautiful house there. He was a good friend. I'm sorry for our loss. A good man.
