Leslie Marshall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 11, 2025.
Mrs. Leslie A. Marshall passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, at her home in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Born on March 15, 1944, in Newton, Massachusetts, she was the only child of Beatrice R. LaRosee and the eldest grandchild of Conrad J.B. LaRosee and Marie-Rose LaRosee.

Leslie's education began at Ecole St. Jean L'Evangelist through eighth grade, followed by one year at Our Lady's Help of Christians before she graduated from Newton High School in 1962. Later that same year, she married Philip Dwyer of Hibbing, Minnesota. They made their home in the Wethersfield neighborhood of Bellingham, Massachusetts, where they spent 26 years raising their two daughters and forming lifelong friendships. After living for many years in New Hampshire and Florida, Leslie eventually returned to Massachusetts to be near her dearest friends once more.

Throughout her career as an executive assistant, Leslie was a dedicated professional and a valued asset to the organizations she served before her retirement.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with family and friends. An exceptional cook and a keen game player, she delighted in preparing meals for loved ones and sharing laughter over games of Scrabble or cribbage.

Leslie is survived by her daughters Kim Lations and Kerri Dwyer (Bill Shea), as well as her cherished grandsons Connor Senay and Charlie Lations. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Marshall, and her mother.

In accordance with Leslie's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate her memory privately in their own ways, knowing that she will always be with them in spirit. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
