Levi David Johnston age 14 of Baxter Springs, Kansas passed away Friday, June 10, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on May 20, 1997 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Norman David & Amanda (Wyatt) Johnston. He attended Baxter Springs Middle School and while there he was a member of the middle school band. He was a member of the choir at Wyandotte Schools, he loved to sing. He lived in the Baxter Springs Wyandotte area all his life. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Baxter Springs where he also served as a member of the youth group. He enjoyed art, drama and loved to go fishing with his dad. He was preceded in death by his uncle Curtis Hadden Wyatt. He is survived by his parents of the home and 2 brothers, Hunter & Tanner Johnston also of the home. Also surviving are his grandparents and many friends. Funeral services for Levi David Johnston will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Wyandotte High School Gymnasium with Rev. Todd Scoggins and Rev. Ricky Wyatt officiating. Interment will be in the Newman Cemetery east of Quapaw, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Jason Johnston, Jason Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Shane Sartin, David Sartin and Jamie Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Wyatt II, Jacob White, Taylor Angleton and Blake Painter. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce, Oklahoma. Funeral services were under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce, Oklahoma. Online condolences can be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.

It's been a long time since I've really opened up about it but Levi was the person I shared my room with my entire childhood. He was crazy and wacky but I loved him all the same. I miss him so much and it's been a long time since I've been here. I love you Levi I miss you every day.
