Levi Smith Obituary
He was born to Michael "Bubba" Smith and Leslye (Nix) Smith on September 8, 1982 in Victoria Texas. He was a Class of 2001 graduate of Calhoun High School.
Joined in matrimony to Jane McGinley on October 12, 2012, the two were kindred spirits.
Levi enjoyed travelling, art, fine food, the beach and music of every kind. He was a student of life, with a passion for adventure and discovery. Levi had a peaceful disposition with a kind and gentle soul. He was a man of faith.
Levi will forever be remembered by his wife, Jane McGinley; his loving parents, Michael "Bubba" and Leslye Smith; and a caring sister, Lexi (Daniel) Smith. He will also be greatly missed by his precious niece and nephew, Livi and Liam Smith; many aunts, uncles and cousins; grandparents Lola and Chuck Chaka and grandmother Geraldine Nix. Levi is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clifford Harold Smith and DeWayne Nix.
Family, friends and others whose lives Levi touched are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Rosewood Funeral Chapels to assist the family with expenses.

Bubba, Leslye, and Lexi...I am so deeply sorry for the loss you guys are going through. Levi was my best friend growing up and even though this hurts so terribly I can't help but remember all the crazy things we did as kids. He was the DJ to the soundtrack of my childhood, and taught me what true friendship is. He changed my life and to this day I still model each of my friendships after what he taught me. Levi, you were and still are the first and best friend I ever had, Love you brother and I pray you found the perfect stretch of beach in heaven so we can cruise it together when that day comes.
