My prayers to your family

I was Lew's secretary for 5 years. He was a very kind, funny, intelligent and interesting man - we got along very well. My deepest condolences to his family. May he Rest in Peace.

Sleep well, Lew, an old friend from Syracuse University days who often attempted to teach me new social skills.

Mr. K as I affectionately called him will forever be in my memory! I worked for him for 15 years. He was always very kind to me and to my family, and we all will miss him dearly! Denise (Dunning) Wilkinson...former secretary to Lewis R. Kaster.

"Big" Lew was a dear friend to many in the legal community, both within those firms with which he was affiliated and in the American Bar Association. In 2010 he received the Martin I. Lubaroff Award in recognition to those contributions. Words fail as I attempt to convey all he meant to so many of us a mentor.
