Please accept my condolences. I have found comfort in God's word the Bible. Such as at 1Peter5:7; "while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you". How comforting to know Good wants us to talk to him and that he cares for us.

Hey John and Dawn,
I just found out the news today. I'm am so very sorry. I hadn't seen your daughter since she was a baby and I can't believe so much time has passed. I saw her photo and she had grown up to be a beautiful young lady. It breaks my heart. God rest her soul. I really don't know what to say other than my prayers go out to you and your families. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for the service. Love you both. Take care.

No words can express as to how sorry I am for your loss. I didn't know Lia personally but to hear my daughter talk of her, I feel like I have known her all my life. My daughter just transferred from Wellston to Jackson as a Freshman and she told me the other day that Lia sent her a message on the first day of school asking her how she was doing in the new school. My daughter said Lia was one of the nicest people to her and always saying how silly she was and always laughing, as she is showing me pictures of Lia. My heart goes out to you and your family. From what I hear she is an amazing, beautiful young lady that will always be in our hearts. Thank you Lia for being such an amazing friend to my daughter......Rest In Peace.

Dawn, words cannot express how I feel for you. I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. I lost my Dusty on the same day, a day that we will never forget. Just know that some day you will see her again. No one can answer the reasons why, but we can be thankful that we had such beautiful and wonderful children in lives. The grief you must feel is unimaginable. As a mom to seven kids, what happened to Lia is a parent's worst nightmare. I just want you to know that Lia was in my first class, as a student teacher, and in my class once I moved to the junior high. She was beautiful, funny, articulate, and her zest for life was infectious. Please know how so very sorry I am. I know that I have no words that can take away your pain, but I hope that you can find some comfort in the fact that I will forever be eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to be in the presence of your little girl. My prayers are with you and your family. Words can never be spoken during times like this of loosing a child or a love one. I pray that God will confront you in this time and give you strength to take one day at a time. It will be very hard for years to come, but remember all the good times and the time you had your precious daughter and knowing that she loved you and that you showed her how much you loved her.
