Lillian Dodd Obituary
Mrs. Dodd was a longtime employee of the Baptist Home in Philadelphia. She enjoyed fishing, canoeing, hiking, and horseback riding.
Lillian was the beloved wife of Raymond E. Dodd for 45 years. She was the devoted mother of Kevin (Susan) Dodd, Kirk (Lauren) Dodd, and Kelliann Dodd all of Philadelphia. She was the loving grandmother of Amanda, Ryan, Jeremy, Emma, Natalie, Olivia, and Nicholas Dodd. She was the sister of Bill (Kathy) Keane, John (Judy) Keane. Lillian was loved and fondly remembered by the following uncles, aunts, and cousins: Samuel J. & Helen M. Porter, Thomas & JoAnne D. Porter Jr., Henry A. & Dorothy H. Porter, Stephen L. & Margaret G. Szalay, Joseph E. & Anna Marie Carr, Robert & Katherine E. Cantwell, Francis P. & Eleanor Keane Jr., Joseph T. Keane, Peter & Margaret Fox, Jane M. Studley, Stephen J. Szalay Jr., Gale Ann McCarty, Joseph T. Porter, William J. Porter, Margaret A. Gracie, John F. Carr, James J. Carr, Joseph T. Carr, Francess Carr, JoAnn Rickenback, Anne K. Mecca, Francis Keane, and Michael Fox.
Relatives and friends are invited to her service funeral services at 11:30 AM on Thursday, July 25th at the Lamb Funeral Home (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of service. Her interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, S.P.C.A. or to cancer research.

As you may or may not know that I'm a religious man when it comes from the Word of God.Our Lord says that he does not give us more than we can't handle. Theres not much that can be said Kevin. Sadness accompanied by a sad relief that her suffering has ended. As a believer in God and an afterlife I believe she is receiving her reward for the kindness and gentleness you experienced from her. Kevin - Im so sorry for your loss. I know there is nothing I can say to make things better. Time will help with that and make things easier to cope at some point. Your loss is deep and mournful, it takes time to be strong again but it will happen. But during that time, cry at the memories, and be sad, and maybe a little angry, its OK but also find joy in the times you had together and the memories you made.
