Lillian J. Helbig (n?e Coakley) 89, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022. She was born July 6, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Ethel and Charles Coakley. She grew up in Chicago and Lemont, IL where she met the love of her life Gilbert J. Helbig and shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. She dedicated her life to raising her 10 children and creating a love filled home in Streamwood and Elgin IL. Lillian loved spending time with her family, entertaining, traveling the world and was a passionate reader. She was a sports nut and loved watching The Cubs, The Bulls, Golf and College Basketball. Her greatest life accomplishment and legacy is being a "super cool mom" to her children, and a loving grandmother to 30 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Lillian will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
