BEVERLY — Lillian R. (Jones) Main, 86, wife of the late Martin L. Main Jr., died Wednesday evening, March 5, 2008 at Ledgewood Rehabilitation Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly following a long illness.
Born in Witchita, Kan., daughter of the late Arch D. and Iva Faye (Parker) Jones, she lived in Beverly most of her life.
Mrs. Main was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Beverly, Memorial United Methodist Church Youth Fellowship and a 4 H Club leader.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving her are two sons, Wayne E. Main and his wife Tracy of Middlefield, M. Archie Main and his wife Crystal of Middlefield; one daughter, Carolyn A. Jones and her husband Paul of Hamilton; one brother, Edward Jones of Kingman, Kan.; seven grandchildren, David Main of Maine, Eric E. Main of Middlefield, Michelle M. Main of Middlefield, Todd A. Main of Beverly, Meghan J. Main of Middlefield, Mitchell J. Main of Middlefield, and Melinda Raye Main of Middlefield; also several nieces and nephews including James H. Main of Beverly. She was the grandmother of the late Gary E. Main.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial funeral services will be held at the Memorial United Methodist Church, Beverly on Monday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell — Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 9 Dane St., Beverly (downtown location) Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Memorial United Methodist Church, 2 Dane St., Beverly, MA 01915.
