September 23, 1923 - July 31, 2011
Lily leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family of two sons, Dennis (Marj) Oscar and Ron (Marion) Oscar, six grandchildren Fern Broz (Dean), Glenn Oscar (Tanya), Dale Oscar (Roxanne), Dean Oscar, Darryl (Tracey) Oscar, and Steven (Kim) Oscar; ten great- grandchildren, Jared, Brandon and Nicholas Broz, Casandra (Nolan) Greenwall, Chase (Vanessa) Kowalsky, Kristopher and Jeremy Oscar, Justin and Amber Oscar and Megan Oscar; four great-great-grandchildren, CJ and Kiara Kowalsky, Alexis and Emily Greenwall; along with Lilys sister Euphemia Schultz. Lily was predeceased by her husband William, parents Martin and Emilge Strand, brothers Andrew (1927) and Armond as well as great-granddaughter Naketa.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel, 5302 - 50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin, with interment at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wetaskiwin Hospital Long Term Care, Unit 33, 6910 - 47 Street, Wetaskiwin, T9A 3N3.
