Tanaka, Lillian Hiroko Age 81 of Hopkins, passed away May 28, 2010. Preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Frank; children, Richard (Pam) Tanaka, Pat Tanaka, Laurie (David) Wesley; grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Abbie, TJ and Randall, sister, Helen Tsuchiya; many nieces and nephews. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Twin Cities Buddhist Association, the NC Little Hospice or J.A.C.L. Scholarship Fund. Memorial service Saturday, June 5, 2:30 PM with visitation 1 hr. before at: Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100

My deepest sympathy to the Tanaka Family.

I didn't know Lil but I know her daughter, Pat Tanaka, from work and I can imagine where Pat got her sense of humor and grace...at least part of it must be from her lovely mom.
