With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Lincoln Bruce Donaldson Jr., who left this world peacefully on February 25, 2025, in his cherished hometown of Seattle. He was 76 years old.

Affectionately known as "Linc," he was a man of warmth, kindness, and generosity. His laughter could brighten any room, and his spirit was as vast and boundless as the sky. Linc's unwavering faith and deep devotion to God shaped his life, guiding him in his love for others and the many cherished memories he created.

A man deeply connected to nature, Linc found joy and purpose in his work through Lincoln's Log, where he spent his life tending to the gardens of those he held dear. His relationships, much like his gardens, were nurtured with trust, care, and deep-rooted kindness.

Linc took immense pride in being an uncle to Ian, Sunny, Jessica, Vanessa, Erik, Charlie, Sadie, Stella, and Anders, and he shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Laurie. A gifted musician, he found solace and joy in playing the piano, organ, and trombone. He was also an avid collector of rocks, minerals, and gems, always finding beauty in the world around him.

Linc's infectious laughter, quick wit, and compassionate heart left an everlasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be profoundly missed, but his love and light will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held in Seattle this spring. May his memory be a blessing, and may his kindness and love continue to inspire us all.
