On November 23, 2013 another angel was called home at 9:47 PM at the age of 65. Linda Kay (Pittman) Avery of Petal, Mississippi is the beloved mother of three surviving daughters; Ronda Stephens of New Augusta; Alon Avery of Monterey, California; and Vanessa Limbert of Buck Creek. She is also the beloved grandmother of ten surviving grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is survived by her twin brother, James Ronnie Pittman of Dixie Community. She was welcomed into the Pearly Gates by her mother, Ollie Mae Pittman, and father, James Hardin Pittman of Petal and is rocking the two great granchildren that went before to await her arrival. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2 PM at Pinehaven Funeral Home in Hattiesburg. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM.

To the family of my first cousin, Linda. I am very sorry for your loss. I am sorry that through the years, Linda and I never saw or visited other than maybe at a funeral. We had fun times together when we were children. Your grandmother, my Aunt Ollie Mae was my daddy's sister. I am praying for all the family and I pray that God's Love and Grace will help you each day. I am sorry that I didn't know she was sick. Love to all...
