Maryville - Linda Darlene Caughron, age 77 of Maryville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2025.

Darlene was a loving wife, mother, Christian, Nana, and friend. She enjoyed traveling, antiquing, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Georgia Cook, her brother David Cook, and her father and mother in law Kenneth and Ruth Caughron.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Richard Caughron, her children Rick (Toni) Caughron and Darren (Tracy) Caughron, her grandchildren Chris Caughron, Ashley (Aaron) Dorsey, and Trooper Caughron, great grand children Austin and Abby Dorsey; brothers Don (Carol) and Darrell Cook, sister and best friend Diane Farley, nieces, nephews, and several close family friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all that have prayed for her during her illness. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the University of Tennessee that gave her exceptional and compassionate care.

Per Darlene's request, there will be no services. A private family service will be held at a later date.
