It is with great sorrow to say that our dear Linda has gone home to be with the Lord. We didn't have enough time with her here. But God has a greater plan for her. Linda did more then fight a courageous battle with cancer and regularly surprised her doctors on her valiant fight. Some even did case studies when she would shock them with how well she took her treatments and her continued upbeat attitude, she amazed them.
Born July 21,1969 in Camarillo. She went to school there and graduated from Camarillo High. She went on into the nursing program and became a LVN. She had a great passion for being able to help people through their illnesses. She was often complimented by both her patients and the Doctors she worked for. Her special smile put her patients at ease while her kind words showed them that she really cared.
Linda was a great friend, a strong caring, guiding mother involved deeply in her children's lives. Kaila and Tyler had a rock in their Mom. They looked up to her and respected their Mom and all that she did to provide for them. Linda made great sacrifices so that her children had a good, safe home.
Besides her children she is survived by her father and mother Dennis and Marina Franks, her brothers Stan, Steve, Stacy, Stuart and Sterling and her sister Lorna and all the many cousins, nieces and nephews of the great Franks family. They miss her immensely.
My life was enriched for knowing Linda for nearly 25 years. We had the strongest connection two people could have. I have a lifetime of great memories with her and deeply miss her. We all have an extra angel watching over us.

Linda,
I will always remember the great times we had in Home Economics in junior high at Monte Vista. After losing touch for so many years, it was nice to receive a "hello" from you several years back when you recognized my mother during one of her doctor's visits. I'm so very sorry you lost your battle, but I'm glad you're now at peace. My sincere condolences to your family.

I'm grieved to hear of Linda's passing. I went to high school with her for awhile and have great memories of her dirt bike stories in Camarillo. I vaguely remember a trampoline in the house. I ran into her at the old Oxnard Yolanda's about six or seven years ago with her sweetheart. She seemed as lovely as always and hadn't aged a bit. I will keep the her in the warmest part of my heart. Peace and condolences to the family.
