I met Lindie back in the 80´s because I was friends with Jim. Didn´t take too long to meld into the entire Glodek Gang which has afforded me memorable experiences and happy relationships with so many of them.
In the early years, our friendship was based on good times and having fun - after all it was the 80´s and early 90´s. As we grew older, it became forged and strengthened by meaningful events, loss and sometimes heartache. We visited each other, went to the cottage, laughed and had so much fun. Lindie was very generous, funny, smart, tough and always held tight to her convictions.
We fought like sisters and loved like family. However, I never left an argument with her feeling less than when I walked into it. That´s a tribute to the kind of friend she was to me.
I miss you Lindie....I know you are basking in that sunset you photographed for years.

Lindie , you were the source of many funny, crazy memories both at the lake and in Western Springs. I hear your laugh, and it makes cry and laugh at the same time. We will miss you and treasure having had you in our lives.

My heart goes out to the Glodek family and Kevin. Linda was a talented woman. My favorite memory is when she and cousin Susan made a difference at my wedding in 1969, running every little errand and being so very helpful. She will be missed by all of us.

Lindie was the glue that kept all us cousins connected. Lindie would show up with a tray of fresh golumpkies. (go-wimp-keys) She would remind us of our Polish traditions - especially the Easter lamb and the Christmas Polish Santa.
One of my favorite memories was riding in a squad car with her. Lindie was in the front seat. I was in the back seat with my husband and my granddaughter. Needless to say, Lindie was talking the cop´s ear off. My husband and I looked at each other and agreed that if we didn´t get to our destination soon, the sheriff would kick her to the curb. That was Lindy - full of life, laughter, and love.
She´ll be so greatly missed.
While reading Lindie´s obituary this morning, I was in a kayak on a small lake. Circling above me was a bald eagle. I took that as a sign from Lindie that she is with the angels and the rest of our Boduch/Glodek family.

I am forever grateful for all the love and support you provided for our family. Even though we were miles apart, you stayed in touch with thoughtful gifts, letters, cards, books that you put together and all the beautiful photo´s you took & shared with others. We surely had some great times at the cottage snow/water skiing, boating (jumping Hooker´s boat was a classic!!)
You were the glue!!!
I love & miss you dearly!

Lindie had a beautiful soul. She was so vivacious throughout her life and so caring. She devoted her life to her family, friends, and her husband. She will be so missed. "Those we love don´t go away; they walk beside us every day.

I knew you for most of my life. You were wild, crazy and unpredictable but you were also so kind hearted and generous to both family and friends. My life is better for having known you.

I have fond memories of going exploring thru some of the new construction houses Lindie´s Dad was building in Springdale, which of course we shouldn´t have done. And of course we were reminded of that. . She was always so thoughtful about my Mom. Visited her a few times when she came to Chicago. Lindie sent her Easter cards, Christmas cards... I believe she's looking down on us & understands the positive impact she had on all of us.
