Katie,

You and your Mom meant so much to us after Gerald died and I am sorry that you have to go through a similar experience now. You were fortunate enough to have a wonderful Mom who always gave something of herself and she will truly be missed.

I am so glad that she was able to watch Talia a few times, as she found so much joy in babies.

You will stay in my prayers.

It amazes me how many lives Linda has touched, even in the simplest way. She left her "mark" on earth and was a perfect example to us all of what it means to give from your heart. Linda was a normal everyday person who experienced the same trials we all have, and some that most of us would never dream of living with. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, she expressed her thankfullness and gratitude by giving back. Her life was full and rich with all of the qualities that really matter.

Dear Katie and the Golien Family

The last time I saw Linda was on the cruise. She and I saw each other from across the room and she smiled that warm friendly smile of hers and waved. I will never forget that moment as it was my last memory of her.

She was always kind, helpful and full of compassion.

Katie, my prayer for you is that you will always feel the presence of your mother. She truly is only a prayer away.

May God ease your pain and give you the courage and strength to work through this difficult time.

I hope that you will soon find comfort in knowing how many people Linda touched. She was always so kind and happy. I don't think I ever saw her unhappy. This last summer I had the pleasure of working out of our corporate office at Cambridge. I was in transition , just coming back from maternity leave and preparing to open a new community. My new baby Connor had to come with me to work which Linda loved! She would grab him the second she saw him. Connor just loved how she would rush to pick him up and cuddle him. She really just lit up when she saw him! Linda told me she loved babies. Seeing her with Connor I knew she must be a very loving mom. Linda will be greatly missed. She truly touched so many people around her. Your family is in my prayers. God bless you all.

Linda,

While only knowing you a short time, I feel fortunate and blessed to have crossed your path. I will always remember the day during the holidays we both walked in and you had 2 bags of presents and food. We made jokes as always and laughed as we went up the elevator together. I will always remember your smiling face and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

God Bless,

The Bernards

Dear Katie, Ed and family,

May God be with all of you as you move forward to deal with the loss of Linda. She was a wonderful, caring and giving person and she will live in my heart forever.

Katie, your Mom loved you so much. We became friends over 22 years ago when we worked together at Fujitsu. I remember all the things we did together and the fun we had with all of you kids. We used to book a room at a motel with an indoor swimming pool, just for a getaway once in a while. We would let you kids swim until your lips were purple and you were cold and exhausted! Then we would put all of you to bed and sit just outside the room with a pot of decaf coffee and a bag of cookies and talk for hours on end.

Linda loved life and she will be missed by all.

WHEN SOMEONE YOU LOVE BECOMES A MEMORY, THE MEMORY BECOMES A TREASURE.

With all our love to all of you,

Bev, Dan, Justin and Sarah Kerr

To Dearest Katie & Lindas Family,

It was a joy and honor to know and work with Linda. Not only was she my co-worker but I came to consider her one of my dearest friends.

Lindas greatest priority was being a loving and caring mother to Katie.

Linda, I know you are dancing in the clouds now, but we will miss you very much.

Linda was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. She always worried and cared for other people before she thought of herself. Although, Katie was always the love and greatest accomplishment in her life she always gave her time and love without a second thought. She was involved with charities and those who were in need of love and attention. I know that I have learned a little bit more about life with Linda's passing. She loved life to the fullest and always had a smile for you. It sure doesn't make this loss any easier..... You will be missed and loved always.
