Linda HAMILTON

HAMILTON, Linda was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother "Mimi", sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away surrounded by her adoring husband and children on September 14, 2021, at age 73. She was born Linda Rae Rosier to Nathan and Collete Rosier on June 6, 1948, in Starke, Florida. After graduating from Starke High School, Linda married her high school sweetheart, Sherrod Mark Hamilton, in 1967. Together, they raised two children. Linda is survived by her children, Janice VerHoeven (husband Chris) and Jason Hamilton (wife Patty). Linda always loved spending time in the kitchen, on her back porch, at the beach, and in the Georgia mountains. She enjoyed a glass of wine and a good book. She treasured her Sunday school group and cherished time with her family. Most of all, Mimi loved her grandchildren, Erika Brunson, Jarrod Brunson, Christian Hamilton, Diamond (DJ) Hooper Jr., Abby Hamilton, and Bryce VerHoeven. In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, Linda is mourned and survived by her brother, William "Bill" Rosier (wife Linda), and her nephew, Justin Snover. A memorial service will take place at 11 am on October 9, 2021, at the South Tampa Fellowship Ballast Point location, 5101 Bayshore Boulevard. The family will host a visitation line prior to the service beginning at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the South Tampa Fellowship on her behalf.
