Linda Henderson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 27, 2024.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Henderson on Sept 16, 2024 after a brave journey with dementia. Linda was 74 years old.

Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She shared a life full of love, adventure, and laughter with her devoted husband, Wayne Wilson. She was a fierce protector of her children, Harry Manroe, Marsha (Rich) Baker, Robbie Paez, and Darrell (Lorie) Henderson, whom she loved with all her heart.

Linda was also a proud grandmother to Ricky (Alesha) Baker, Kira (Lowell) Baker, Darrell (Lakin) Henderson, and Sarah Henderson-and two great-grandsons, Tyson and Kade. Her family was her pride and joy, and her warmth and kindness will live on in their hearts.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her sister, Kay Earnest, and nieces, Cindy (Don) Hall and Terri (Eric) Iker and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her deep love for her family, Linda found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved music, dancing, travel, cheering for the San Diego Chargers and Padres, and was always up for a good margarita. In her later years, Linda found peace in taking long car rides with her husband and eating pancakes multiple times a day.

Linda left these words for us: "Don't be too say; be happy for the good times we have had. I have had a good life full of ups and downs. Be happy Life is precious and goes by too fast. I wish you happiness in everything you do. I will be watching over you always."

Linda will be deeply missed, but her love will remain with us forever.
