Met Linda at Quebec City High, shared many coffees and stories with her and her brother at the cafe across the street. They taught me how to swear in French!

Linda was known to the cancer community as the Montreal patient whose advocacy caused Quebec, and then all provinces in quick succession, to cover the cost of Herceptin. She volunteered for breast cancer groups in Montreal and became a Director of CACC, sharing her own experience so that we would learn how to make a difference. In her work as a hotel manager and consultant, she was successful and highly regarded; the kind of manager everybody wants to work for. The remarkble gift of Linda was the grace and humour she brought to her ordeal with cancer. She never wanted her friends to suffer with her, she wanted to enjoy her friends and for them to enjoy her company. Linda need never have worried about it; for lively fun and laughs there was nobody more delightful than our dear Linda. Our deepest sympathies go to her beloved husband, Renaud, as her many friends feel this terrible loss. Now she makes the angels giggle.
