Linda Mae Jefferson of Garber, Oklahoma passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 76, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on March 9, 1949, Linda dedicated her life to caring for others in her cherished role as a Registered Nurse.

Linda was known for her vibrant, outgoing personality, and her energy was infectious to all who knew her. She brought joy and generosity into the lives of many, embodying a spirit of love and care that extended beyond her professional life into her personal passions. She had a keen interest in genealogy, relishing the opportunity to connect with her family roots, and was an avid shopper, always on the lookout for the next great bargain.

A proud alumna of Morrison High School, Linda furthered her education at Northern Oklahoma College, which paved the way to her fulfilling career in nursing, a profession where she made significant impacts on the lives of her patients and colleagues alike.

Linda is survived by her son, Jon Thomas Jefferson; her grandson, Timothy Thomas Jefferson; her brother, Willie Masters; her sister, Stella Deeds; her step sister, Sherry Dubois; her step brother, Larry Masters; her nephews, Jarrod Hobson, Robert Venable Jr., Hank Deeds, Mike Deeds, Juston Masters, Jesse Masters, Ethan Masters, Levi Masters, her niece, Rene Murphy; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Boyd; her mother, Elma Masters and stepfather William Wallace Masters Sr., her sister, Marilyn Boyd; her step brothers Bill and Glenn Masters; her step sister Vonda Johnson and her grandparents, Irvin & Stella Webb and Oliver & Georgia Boyd.

Linda's life was a testament to her enduring kindness and her unwavering commitment to her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will not be forgotten
