KOWALSKI, Linda Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, Linda passed away following a short illness on November 20, 2008 at the age of 56. Beloved wife of Ed Kowalski. Proud mother of Kristina and Andrea (Dwight) Baker. Cherished grandma of Ethan and Brayden Baker. Dearest daughter of Shirley (the late Olious) Halverson. Loving sister of Sheila, Karen, Corinne (Steven Duncan), Randy (Bev) and Tom. Special aunt of Sean (Rachel) Simpson and Krista Simpson, Kailyn, Brittany and Emily Halverson-Duncan. Also survived by mother-in-law Jozefa (the late Mieczyslaw) Kowalski; sister-in-law Teresa Simpson and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd) on Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leonard Roman Catholic Church, 5332 Long Island Rd, Manotick on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10 a.m. For those who wish, donations to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated.
