PRINCETON — Linda Sue Lambert, 62, of Village Green Circle, Princeton was called to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, August 3, 2009.Born January 27. 1947, at Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Earsell C. and Ollie Mae Lankford Johnson.She had been a resident of Mercer County most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.In addition to her parents, she will be met at Heaven's Gates by her sister, Evia L. Peters.Those who remain to carry on her spirit are her husband of 44 years, Franklin Wayne Lambert; her daughters, Melissa Pettrey and husband Rick of Wayside, Linda Jones and husband Tony of Athens; her son, Franklin Wayne Lambert Jr. of Princeton; granddaughters, Olivia Manda Lambert and special friend Eric Bickoff, Jessica Bennett and husband Sgt. Jacob Bennett of Athens; and grandson, Colby Jones of Athens; brothers, Henry Johnson and Danny L. Johnson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, friends and caregivers.A service to celebrate the life of Linda Sue Lambert will be held 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Delmar Stilwell officiating.A time of gathering and sharing will held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour.
