Linda LEPORE

LEPORE, Linda Dianne Ellen (nee, Edwards)
Passed away April 7, 2013, at home after a lengthy illness at the age of 63. Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Linda was the daughter of the late George Ernest Arthur "Art" and Lilianne (Beaudin) Edwards. Linda received her early education in Ontario and later attended Delbrook High School in North Vancouver. She worked as an accounting professional before retiring early to travel the world. Linda was a very special person with an extraordinary spirit and strength. She was a best friend, partner and lover to her spouse. She was an avid, voracious reader, a certified diver who loved Cozumel and the reefs of the Palancar and loved her pets, Koko, Molly and Oscar Wild. Linda was married on October 27, 1983, in Vancouver to her husband, Angelo. She is also survived by her brother, George and wife Christine, nieces, Celeste and Kaysha Edwards; father and mother- in-law, Carmine and Lina Lepore; brother-in-law, Lorenzo and wife Michele Lepore and their children, Christopher and wife Ivy, (children Mark, Jasmine and Aiza), Marcia Lepore (son, Dante), Taylor and Nicole Lepore; sister-in-law, Dolores and husband Brent Novak and their children, Adam and Vanessa Advocaat; brother-in-law, Osvaldo (Vicki) and their children, Luca and Lina Lepore. Special thanks are extended to Dr. S. Snow, Lynn, Dr. Rheaume and to all the nurses at the Cancer Center who made her journey easier over the past many years. Much appreciation to her care givers, in particular, Barbara Stewart and all the VON nurses for their caring home support. We're blessed by good friends and neighbours and are grateful and thankful for their friendship, kindness and help. Linda will be missed tremendously by all, especially her spouse and beloved Koko.
