What can I say about my beautiful friend? Words cannot express what she meant to me. She was more than a friend she was my soul sister. My touch stone. Even when we fought, which we did sometimes. We always found our way back to each other.
Linda and I met accidentally when we both had a blog in 2008. A fast friendship developed, and we spent time flying back and forth to each other´s houses. Linda was one of the funniest people that I have ever met. We spent hours over video chat between our visits. We talked about our children, and her grandchildren. Linda and two of my other best friends were instrumental in supporting me through my divorce. It was such a dark time in my life, but she held me up, and encouraged me to keep going.
She was a master gift giver as that was her love language. My house is filled with gifts from her. I look around and see all the beautiful things from her, and it gives me comfort.
I never got to say goodbye. I was supposed to fly out next month to see her. I thought that we had more time. I think that we all did. I miss her so much. I´ve picked up the phone several times in the last few weeks to text her. Then I remembered.
I hope she´s dancing on the other side of the stars with Nick. Here is do silly photos of us on messenger.
