Linda Darnell
Murdock died peacefully after a long illness on July 9, 2013. Born in West Virginia on January 11, 1943.
After meeting the love of her life Jack Murdock they moved to Houston and raised 4 children while spending time with family and friends. Linda loved her family and church. She always had a smile that would light up a room and would love to use her gifts for others with sewing and cooking. In recent years Linda benefited from her extended family at the The Church of Katy. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Murdock and parents Jay and Leola Darnell sister Jean Ann and brother Buddy.
She is survived by her sisters Drema Loria, Diane Johnston and Pat Layman also her sister in law Carla Anderson of Katy. Her sons William Sharpe and wife Susan of Rockwall, Richard Sharpe, Jack Murdock Jr. of Houston and daughter Julie Harvey and husband Paul of Dallas, grandchildren Nicholas Sharpe, Aaron Sharpe, Allyson Price, Alana Sharpe, Alexis Murdock, Josh Murdock, Anthony Pucciarello, Gavin Pucciarello, Tane Harvey, Cole Harvey. Also by niece Sherrie Anderson and nephew Robert Anderson III. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers who sat by her side.
Funeral service is 1p.m. Friday July 12th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, interment immediately after. A Celebration of Life reception will then be held in the funeral home. Memorial Remembrances may be given to the American Lung Association.

I am so sorry to read about your loss. God promises a time when he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away. I hope this bring you comfort.
