Nashville - Linda Blackwood Oman - of Nashville TN .Linda died peacefully on November 14th 2018. Born August 18th 1936 to Elizabeth Kinney Blackwood and Joseph Ronald Blackwood. Preceded in death by her husband Stirton Oman Jr. ,son - Stirton Oman 3rd and sister Joanne Blackwood Flintoff. Survived by children Elizabeth Oman Clark of Nashville and Bond Emerson Oman( Dana) of Nashville. Grandchildren Nathan Ellis Clark Jr., Lauren Elizabeth Clark , Sloan Fields Oman ,Connor Stirton Oman and Caroline Grace Oman. Linda attended Hillsboro High School and Ward Belmont College. After college she moved to California for several years before coming back to Nashville to marry Stirton. She was involved in many charities over the years. The family will have a private Graveside service. The family would like to thank all the many caring people at The Bridge at Monteagle. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.
