Linda Rocha Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 27, 2024.

Linda Rocha passed away in her home Monday August 12, 2024, comforted by her family and caregivers. Life will be difficult without her, but knowing she isn't in pain or confused is a blessing to her family. Linda was born October 14th, 1946, in Sacramento, California to Werner and Betty Lou Warmuth. Linda grew up in San Joquin, California and graduated from Tranquility Union High School "TULE" class of 1964. During that time, she was crowned Miss San Joaquin.

After graduating high school, she married her loving husband Larry J. Rocha on January 2, 1965. Together they lived in Fresno until 1969, they relocated to Portland, Oregon seeking new opportunities. Linda worked as a secretary for different companies throughout her career and retired in 1996.

Together with her husband they developed Share-A-Raft raft rental and guide service and Linda's River Shuttles on the Deschutes River in Maupin Oregon.

Larry and Linda moved to Maupin, Oregon in 2002 to further develop and operate their companies. Together they enjoyed living the "snowbird" lifestyle which included spending winters at their Yuma, Arizona property in their motorhome along with their beloved fur baby "Tillie". They spent their time in Yuma barbequing, attending moon rise parties, riding their OHV Razor in the desert and mountains with many of their old friends from the Northwest and new friends they made along the way. When the weather got too hot in Arizona they would pack up and head back home to Oregon to enjoy life on the Deschutes River.

Linda is survived by her husband Larry J. Rocha Sr of 58 years, Daughter Janiece A. Troutman her husband Jeff, Son Larry J. Rocha Jr his wife Cali, Grandchildren Lukas Troutman, Lauryn Troutman, and Oliver Rocha.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Werner "Bill" and Betty Lou "Bunny" Warmuth, Brother Patrick Warmuth.
