Linda Dianne Shepherd

Linda Dianne Shepherd, 65, of Springfield, MO, was called to her eternal rest on June 26, 2024. Born on June 23, 1959, in Gary, Indiana, Linda was a proud graduate of River Forest High School and an alumna of Calumet College.

Linda was deeply passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren, Ashlee, Kyle, Christyn, and Connor, who brought immense happiness to her life. Her pets, Cleo and Pepsi, were also a significant part of her world.

Linda leaves behind her loving family, including her son, Christopher Shepherd; daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Laurance Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Kim Shepherd; and sister, Tracy Patrick. Linda will also be remembered by her grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack E. Shepherd; mother, Shirley Nash; sisters, Penny Fuss and Wendy Shepherd; and niece, Stevie Shepherd.

Those touched by Linda are invited to gather with family and friends to share memories during the come-and-go services. The first will be held at the Central Assembly of God's annex building at 1220 N Boonville Ave, Springfield, MO, on July 13th from 9 am to 12 pm. The second gathering will be at Burr Oak Community Church, 11506 W 200 S, Rensselaer, IN, on July 20th from 2 pm to 5 pm.

These gatherings will be informal, allowing all who knew Linda to celebrate her life and legacy in a way that reflects the casual, loving atmosphere she fostered during her life. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this time of mourning.
