Linda Timmons Obituary
February 7, 1944 - June 23, 2021
Irmo, South Carolina - Linda Williamson Timmons passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Born on February 7, 1944, in Walterboro, SC to Major Calvin Williamson and Meurell H. Williamson. She was an Army Brat, having lived in many parts of the world, attending 16 different elementary schools and then settling in Columbia. She graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1962 and Palmer College in 1964. She was a homemaker, a retired legal secretary, and a Charter and active member of Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore Trezevant Timmons of 57 years; two daughters, Terri Everman (Paul) of James Island and Amanda Timmons of Irmo; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Everman; one sister, Sandra Hinson (Don) of Columbia; brother-in-law, Joseph A. Timmons (Janie) and sister-in-law, Ann Monroe (Bob); and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2021, at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212, interment to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Reverend Jeri Katherine Sipes will officiate. The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle, Ste 100, Columbia, SC 29210.
