Linda Wolfe Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 3, 2024.
Greetings in the light of the Lord,

It is with a heart full of gratitude and reverence for the Almighty's grand design that we celebrate the life and ascension of Linda Lois Wolfe (Mahoney), who was called to the Lord's table on May 31, 2024, at the age of 77. Born under God's watchful eye on April 11, 1947, in Campbellsburg, Kentucky, Linda's life was a testament to the virtues of faith, love, and divine joy.

Linda was a humble servant of the earth, who found her calling in the simple pleasures of life-like the breaking of bread with family and friends. Her kitchen was a sanctuary where the loaves were always plentiful, and the fish, well, we suspect she could've fed multitudes with her miraculous touch.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, James A Wolfe, a true companion in her spiritual journey. Her daughter Angela Southworth, son-in-law Scott, and her cherished grandchildren-Joshua Barnett, great-grandson Rory Barnett, Bryanna Imel, Leah Southworth, and Samantha Southworth-will continue to walk in the light of her love and teachings.

Linda found a slice of heaven on Anna Maria Island, where she praised God's masterpiece with every sunset. We believe now she enjoys an eternal paradise, free from the bounds of earthly toils.

We invite you to join us in a service of remembrance that will resonate with Linda's humility and grace. The gathering will commence on June 8th, 2024, at Campbellsburg Christian Church, with visitation beginning at 9 am followed by a service at 11 am, where we will give thanks for the blessing that was Linda's life.

In lieu of earthly tributes, we encourage offerings in Linda's memory to be made to Campbellsburg Christian Church, so that her spirit of generosity may continue to flourish in the good works of the congregation.

Let us rejoice and be glad in the knowledge that Linda Lois Wolfe (Mahoney) now rests in the eternal embrace of our Creator, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished.

May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
