I was one of Linda's first grade students at Peter Hoy Elementary in 1974 before she moved to Arlington. I guess because she was my first teacher, I have always remembered her. Just before my 6th grade year, my parents also moved to Arlington. When I was in the 8th grade, I found Linda in the phone book, and called her. She did not live far from my parents and we arranged to meet at her house one day after school. I remember her as one one my favorite teachers, and I am sorry to learn that she has passed.

I am sorry this is so late and I hope her Husband see this. My name is Brian Healey. I am pretty sure Linda was my Cousin and the only one from the Healey's I have. If her dad was Harold from Sterling Ill. Then I am positive. Also she would have had a brother Billy who passed years ago. I found a picture of her with my brother, Her dad and my dad and it made me try and find her. When i did a search I found out she passed in August. Was very sad to hear this, The last time I saw Linda I was about 12. I would have loved to have talk to her. I am sure I have some pictures she would loved to have seen. Tom, if you get this could you please contact me? I would really love to know if she has anything from my Uncle like pictures of my dad or any other pictures of our family.

Again so sorry for your loss. She sounded like a really sweet person. She sure looks like a Healey!

Thanks

I was saddened this week to learn of Linda's passing. We spent a lot of time together in high school and I remember very fondly some of the good times we had. She had such a sparkling personality and there was always much laughter when she was around! Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.

Tom, Tyler and Lindsay,
Janet and I are so sad for your loss. It's these times that always make us wonder why as the preacher said today. Faith is a strange thing but we believe Linda is so happy now that all the suffering is no longer remembered. God will look after all of you and gradually heal your loss and pain.
With deepest sympathy,
Ken and Janet

Linda was one of my best friends in high school. She was so much fun to be around and we had tons of fun doing........... well we just keep some secrets. She was one of the sweetest persons that I knew---a contagious smile and personality to match. She was a beautiful person and seemed to just love life Tom, Tyler, and Lindsay and grandchildren are in my thoughts. You just remember that all of you were the loves of her life. We all will miss her. After the tears the wonderful memories still remain

Linda and I were nor only classmates at Sycamore but we both lived on Vista Terrace.
All of us spent many hours at the Healey's during our high school days. Linda was a great friend to all of us and we will also think very kindly of her in our memories.
I truly wish the best for all her family.

I, too, am saddened to learn of Linda's passing and have many fond memories of times we spent in high school and in each other's neighborhoods. Like others, I had hoped to catch up at our 50th reunion. My thoughts are with her family

My condolences to Linda's family and friends. As a Sycamore High School classmate of Linda's, I will always remember her as a gentle, loving soul. We had our share of talks and fun, but what I will remember the most is her personality: kind, caring and just a really nice person. I know she will be missed. This year we celebrate our 50th high school reunion and we will remember her with love.
