Lindburgh Boatwright Obituary
Mr. Boatwright is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ethleen (Ethel) Wilkins Boatwright; father, John Thomas Boatwright; brothers, John Wallace Boatwright and Charles Vernon Boatwright; and sister, Lonie Sanders.
He is survived by his three children — daughters, Marianne Palmer of Pensacola, Fla., and Elizabeth Glotfelty of Chesterfield, Va.; and son, Lin Boatwright of Chicago, Ill. — and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m. at The Paulk Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Fitzgerald, Ga. Memorials may be made to The Colquitt County High School Athletic Department, 1800 Park Ave., Moultrie, Ga. 31768.
The Paulk Funeral Home of Fitzgerald is in charge of arrangements.

I remember seeing Lindy involved in sports as I was growing up. I was younger, but he made an impression on me...one that I remember to this day. I was so sorry to hear about his death.
