Lisa Anne MacNeil (Mikolitch) Obituary
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Shawna Ramsey MacNeil, her brother Robert Mikolitch and his husband, Michael O'Connell of Washington, D.C., her partner Robert Hayes of Medford, former husband Timothy MacNeil of Lowell and close friends Dave Branson of Tewksbury, Amy Martelly of Swansea and Laura Fahey of Billerica.
Lisa was the daughter of the late Geraldine Mae (Ramsey) Mikolitch and Calvin Joseph Mikolich and sister of the late David Frederick Paul Mikolitch. She was fortunate to grow up with the love and friendship of many cousins who remember her with great affection.
Born on Medford, MA. On January 26, 1961, Lisa attended Brooks Elementary School, Hobbs Junior High School and Medford High School, (MHS 79). Following school, Lisa embarked on a career in the hospitality industry as a well-known concierge, working in several high profile hotels, including The Sheraton Boston Hotel for 26 years.
Lisa and her family would like to thank the wonderful team at Kaplan Family Hospice House Hospice for their care and guidance. The family looks forward to welcoming friends and relatives at Keefe Funeral Home, 3 Chestnut Street, Arlington on Thursday, October 26, from 4pm - 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, West Medford on Friday, October 27, at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, West Medford. In keeping with Lisa's wishes, please wear colorful clothing if attending.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org, go to Honors & Memorials), or Smile Train (operationsmile.org, go to DONATE).
