Lisa Clubb Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 9, 2022.
Lisa M. Clubb 1964 - 2022 Waterloo, IA Lisa M. Clubb (58) passed away peacefully with family, Wednesday morning, March 9th, at Allen hospital after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Hypertension and Congestive Heart Failure. Lisa was born January 29, 1964, in Waterloo, the daughter of Beverly Culbert (Weyland) and James Walker, later adopted by John Culbert. Lisa loved people and it showed everywhere. For years, she thrived working with and for the public. Wherever she worked, her magnetic, bright personality always drew a crowd and kept them coming back. In 2000, she prided herself with being a part of the census efforts and loved doing it. She loved life, people, music, and dancing. She always said, "I want to dance in the streets with Adelina." Friday-loo dancing in the streets was their favorite time. Life dealt her many difficulties, but she never backed down. In April of 1982, she married Danniel G. Clubb (whom later they divorced but remained longtime friends) and, later that year, welcomed her first child into the world. And then her second in 1983. She always said her proudest achievements were her two children: Sunshine and Cory. As time went on, she added that her greatest joys are her grandchildren. Lisa loved her family very much and enjoyed her time with her grandkids. She loved entertaining her friends and was always the rock they leaned on and admired. Survived By - Daughter Sunshine M.
