Lisa Doherty Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 15, 2025.
Lisa Ann Doherty (McGlasson), 66, of Texas, passed away on September 3, 2025.

Born in Dallas, Lisa spent her life across several Texas cities, including Dallas, Mineola, Lubbock, and Houston, as well as a short time in Indiana. No matter where she lived, Lisa created warmth, laughter, and lasting friendships.

She is survived by her children Brandon Roberts and his wife Beth, and Caitlin Burge and her husband Brody; her beloved grandchildren Kash, Kooper, and Brynlee Roberts; her former stepdaughter Jessica Larkin; her sisters Laura Lewis and Marilee McGlasson; her brother-in-law Johnny Lewis; nephews Peyton, Preston, and Parker Lewis; and cousins Sally Speer, Laura Moore, Amanda Moore Bates, and Adam Moore.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Breanna Brooke Doherty; her parents, Sara Ann Lukenbill and Robert McGlasson; and her sister Julie McGlasson.

Lisa had a zest for life that shone through in everything she did. She loved playing blackjack and bingo, surprising friends with thoughtful gifts, and most of all, spending time with her family. Fiercely strong, endlessly kind, and delightfully spunky, Lisa had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and valued.

Her family and friends will deeply miss her laughter, generosity, and unshakable spirit.

From your kids:

Mom, we can't thank you enough for fighting each day, even though we know you struggled for nearly ten years. You carried that struggle with a smile most of the time, giving us the gift of so many more years with you. We are lost without you, but we know you are watching over us and no longer suffering.
