I just came across this news tonight. I worked at Woodstock Nursing when Lisa was admitted but left in the summer of 2021. I initially drove her to her doctor/dentist appointments, and it was during those rides and conversations that our friendship started. We talked about various things from her husband and miracle baby Mya to ufos and the nature of God. I was drawn to her fun personality and the fact that she was one year younger than me suffering such a condition. I often wondered why her? She seemed like such a great person. That's not to say that she wasn't; but I didn't know her before her illness, and I struggled trying to reconcile why such a person had to endure her situation. Whenever I conversation would touch on God, I would attempt to share my perspectives in the hope of inspiring her to reach out to the Most High to find solace and meaning in her existence. I hope she did. I'll miss you Lisa!
And to Mya, may you grow up to be as smart, funny and beautiful as your mother. All praise to The Most High!

I am so sorry to learn of Lisa's tragic death. Lisa was an amazing person and I'm so glad I was able to know her for the time we worked together. My condolences.
