Lisa Marie (Phipps) Fraser, born Sept 26, 1979, entered into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, Sept 17, 2007, at the young age of 27. She left behind her husband and daughter, Scott and Olivia Fraser; mother and father, Roy and Diana Phipps; two sisters, Sherry and Meliegh Phipps; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Marilyn Fraser; brother-in-law, Eric Fraser, and numerous nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend born in Wichita, Kansas. She moved to Texas soon after and was raised in San Antonio. She graduated from Smithson Valley High School in 1997 and continued her career as a paralegal and massage therapist and worked at USAA in the claims department. Lisa loved and lived life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial service will be held at Eagle's Nest Christian Fellowship, 14015 San Pedro, on Friday, Sept. 21st at 4:00 p.m.

Oh my, I am very surprised to see this. Me, Lisa and Marissa used to hang out and Scott I am so sorry for your loss. It has been some years since I have seen Lisa but I still remeber her spirit. My thoughts and prayers are w/ her family.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Lisa's illness and passing. I went through training with Lisa at USAA and we often spoke of Scott and Olivia over lunch. I did not get the the pleasure of knowing Lisa, but I graduated in 2001 from Smithson Valley. Anytime I hear of a fellow Ranger passing away I am deeply saddened. My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa's friends and family during this tragic time. God Bless.
