Lisa, you were such a great person, always smiling and happy. Now I can't believe you are in a better and a wonderful place, with tears on my eyes I'm praying for you and your loved ones.

Lisa was an awesome cousin!!!! She always made sure my kids had fun when we were together. She will be greatly missed but at least she and my dad (Mitch) can do some camping in heaven together.

My Gram (Florence) was sister to Lisa's Grandpa (Mert). Until this past year, I had lost all track of Lisa's branch of the family. Thru the 'magic of Facebook' and determination to track down extended family for a reunion, we reconnected for the first time in over 40 years (a thousand thank-yous to Dawn for answering that first Facebook message ). Lisa's visits to her Grandpa's cabin near my house had been the bright spots in my childhood summers. We talked a little about those times when we got together 2 months ago, and neither of us could remember specifically how our friendship started or why we seemed to have such a strong bond, except that we were both somewhat shy and quiet. Whatever it was, we were just naturally drawn to each other and that connection stuck. Now, even after all these years, my neighborhood seems a little more lonely, knowing Lisa won't be coming back for anymore visits 'up north' . Rest in peace, dear cousin/friend, I will miss your smile and gentle nature. And to Glenda, Suzanne, Dawn, 'Big Louie' and Lou Jr. and all of Lisa's family and friends 'down south', I send my love, deepest sympathy, and hope for you to find comfort in all of your memories.
