Mrs. Lisa Renee Pearson, age 43, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 19, 1967 in Marietta, GA. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was an inspiration to many in her battle with cancer and was a source of encouragement to everyone who knew her. She was very involved in her son Tanner’s swimming and other extracurricular activities. Lisa worked for the Douglas County Board of Education in the Central Office and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Harold Rogers. She is survived by her husband Marshall Pearson; son Tanner Pearson; mother Doris Rogers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Carla Rogers, Tim and Lesley Rogers; grandmother Willie Pope; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Lana Pearson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Grant and Erica Pearson, Adam and Tammy Pearson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 22, 2010 and Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 5-8 PM. The funeral service will be Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
