Lisa Valera Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 4 to Jun. 5, 2011.
Lisa Dawn Valera (Langell) Passed away with her family by her side at St. Rose hospital in Hayward, CA on June 3. Survived by her loving husband Ben, adoring daughter Alyssa and sweet son, Eli. Daughter to always proud parents Jim and Colleen Langell, brother Jason (Tracy Fletcher, Wesley and Sydney), sister Cherie (John McGee, Hayley and Danny). Born May 29, 1974 at Seaton hospital in Daly City, California. Graduated Westmoor high school 1992. Lisa was an extremely loving and loyal person who lived her life always in the company of her family and friends. She was relaxed and easy going, a wonderful person to be with. It was her constant kindness and fun loving, biting sense of humor, that drew people towards Lisa. She was force to be reckoned with in any bowling alley and on every craft table and kitchen. From home made Christmas ornaments to creative birthday cakes for her children, Lisa never ceased to amaze all of us with her talents, and the fun she had doing such things. Her love of camping adventures and spending time with her family and friends was rivaled only by her passion for Motherhood. She poured love into her children and handled them with grace and a smile. And, they in turn, adored her. Her loves, her talents and her endless stories of all of her good times will be carried on in the memories of all of us that loved her so dearly. Please join us for a Memorial service to celebrate her life to be held Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 12-3pm at the Peninsula Italian American Social Club, 100 North B Street, San Mateo, CA 94401. Donations in lieu of flowers to your favorite charity in Lisa's honor.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Langell & Valera Family. I've known Lisa for many years while working at Classic Bowl. She worked the front desk & i was working as a mechanic in the back with her husband Ben. What i'm gonna miss about her is her wonderful personality. Rest in peace Lisa!! You will be dearly missed!!

I've always known her as Lisa "Laquita." It's an inside joke that she and I always shared and made us laugh/ giggle. Classic Bowl front desk forever. She will be missed, but always in my heart. Bowl free!
