Lisa Williams Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 4, 2025.
Lisa M. Williams (née Kindel), age 63, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2025, in Cowlesville, New York. Born on December 2, 1961, in Buffalo, New York, Lisa lived a life marked by creativity and devotion to those around her.

She was a loving mother to David (Brandi), Dennis, James (Chelsea), Justin (Courtney), and the late Gregory Lee (Allison). Known affectionately as Mema, Lisa treasured her role as grandmother to Aidan, Gavin, Lillian, Viviann, Katie, Brooklyn, Madilyn, and Lyric.

Lisa was a devoted sister to Sandra (Timothy), Bobby (Mary), Kellie (Darrell), and Julie (Jeffery). Her extended family included many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends whose lives were touched by her warmth.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill Williams; her son Gregory Lee; her mother Jule Kindel (née Williams); her father Bob Kindel; and her stepmother DeFern Kindel.

An artist at heart, Lisa expressed her creativity through painting, crafting, gardening, cooking hearty meals, and canning the harvest. She poured love into everything she did.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held on May 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Farmcraft Brewery, 567 US-20A.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Lisa's memory by sharing a story, planting a flower, or embracing the creativity and compassion she embodied.

May Lisa's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
