Livy Geater Obituary
Livy attended North Chicago and Warren Township High School. Livy was a very loving and caring person all rolled into that charismatic personality. While Livy loved basketball, grilling, and watching movies, the one thing that brought him the most joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his new born son, LaMontre' and his best and dearest friend, mother of his son, Sharquana Tucker.
Livy leaves to cherish his memories, his loving soulmate, Sharquana Tucker; and his most prized possession, LaMontre' Ashton Geater; his loving parents, Eugene Geater of Waukegan, LaTonya R. Wyche of Waukegan; three brothers, Nicholuas O. Jacobs of Waukegan, Andre' Geater and Louis Geater of Waukegan; one sister, Angela Geater of Waukegan; his paternal grandmother, Emily J. White of North Chicago and Essie Geater of North Chicago; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Services will be held Thursday June 5, 2008 at Westgate Funeral Home, 616 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL. Wake 10:00AM followed by funeral at 11:00.

The only thing that I can say is that I love you Livy and that I will miss u....Cuz I can't believe that I'm write in your obituary guest book. I can remember all those times when we were younger and you would come around and we would tell you to get lost cuz you were the younger cousin....If somebody asked me to put together a list of things that I've regretted doing in my life. Best believe telling you to get lost would rank number 2 ...because not telling you in person that I love you would rank number 1.

I look on to my computer screen speechless but my mind works and my fingers type. It's been years since we use to watch you as a kid runnin around at Hart School. That lil light skinned cat. The youngest dude ever with a mustache. As I have been gone from the area in the military for 8 and a half years you grew up to be what I hear, a fine young gentleman. Words can not express how we feel since losing you, but indeed we try to explain. Livy I knew you for a few years and I have memories of you that only make me laugh becuase you were a great person to be around. It is hard knowing that you will not have the opportunity to raise your child but I know your spirit will be with him always. God, indeed had a plan for you and May he Bless Your Soul.
