HAPPYNOOK, Lizzie (nee Jack) Ke ki in us uks December 7, 1914 February 24, 2008 On Sunday, February 24th, 2008, Lizzie passed away peacefully in Port Alberni surrounded by her loving family in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband William Happynook in 1991; parents: Jackson Jack and Maggie Cootes; children: Angus, Joseph, Patricia and Tommy; siblings: Daisy, Molly, David, Leonard, Maggie, Paul, Eileen, Lita, and Aggie. She is survived by her daughter Sue Gaston (Richard) in California and son William Happynook Jr. in Winnipeg, Sue's son Michael Gaston (Sally) and their children Brian, Trevor and Mariah; Sue's daughter Holly Mills (Mike) and their children Alex and Kevin; and Sue's daughter Shannon Aitkens (Rory), Lizzie's beloved grandson Tom Happynook (Kathy) and their children Tommy (Carly), Brian (Lindsey), Jadine (Clayton) and Lizzie's great-great grandchildren Jerret and Tehya, Lizzie's granddaughter Kathy Haftner (Marvin) and Kathy's daughter Tasha Gordon, Lizzie's grandson Chris Zimmermann (Roxanne) and Chris's children Aaron and Ashley Zimmermann. She is also survived by her brother Ernest Jack (Shirley), her sister Ethel Johnson (Ralph) and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Lizzie was a loving and attentive grandmother well known for her beautiful woven baskets. A time of visitation and remembrances will take place on Tuesday, February 26 at 7:00pm at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue, Port Alberni. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, also from the Chapel of Memories. Interment to follow in Sarita Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.mem.com .
