Lloyd Wayne Thornberry Sr.

Lloyd W. Thornberry, Sr., age 80. Resident of Southgate, KY. Passed to his eternal home on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. He was a retired Switchman for the C&O Railroad, Inc. with 40 years of service. Enjoyed golfing at Twin Oaks, Devou Park, local golf courses and was well known in local bowling leagues. He was preceded in death by his: parents-Willie Tom and Mary Alice McKinnley Thornberry; daughter-Kathy Adams; son-Kevin Thomas Thornberry, Sr.; grandson-Brett Thornberry; sisters-Geneva Questa. and Helen Johnstone. He is survived by his: wife of 36 years Vicki L. Mitchell Thornberry; sons, Keith Thornberry and Lloyd Thornberry, Jr.; daughters- Kim Jones and Kellie Thornberry; 26-gramdchildren and 38 great grandchildren: Friends may call from 11:00 AM until hour of service Tuesday March 12th at 2:00 PM at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY.
